is absorbed by the insole
If that insole is synthetic, the sweat has nowhere to go — which is how shoes end up damp and smelling. We use an expensive veg-tanned leather insole that drinks it up and dries out overnight.
An original Bummel means quality, individuality, comfort and durability. Not mass-produced, but made with love in South Africa — and built so a cobbler can re-sole it rather than you replacing it.
